- Manage, oversee, and execute over $14 Million annually worth of heavy construction along the Upper Mississippi River through subordinate supervisors and workforce of approximately 85 employees
- Maintenance and repair activities typically include use of heavy equipment such as cranes, towboats, barges, excavators, dozers, forklifts, and various other industrial and construction type equipment as well as working conditions including the many hazards associated with heavy steel construction
- Responsible for ensuring safety of workforce through knowledge and understanding of applicable industry standards, OSHA Regulations, and enforcing Corps of Engineer safety regulations found in EM 385-1-1

Deputy Brigade Engineer GS-14: United States Army, Army Sustainment Command (ASC), 401st Army Field Support Brigade, Bagram, Afghanistan
- Planned, programed, managed, oversaw, and executed over $250 Million annually worth of facility construction, totaling over 320 active construction projects at military installations across Afghanistan
- Regularly provided onsite inspection and oversight as the senior civilian government engineer along with a team of other inspectors to ensure project completion schedules were being met and that work was being performed safely
- Frequently met with local Afghan contractors and provided practical guidance and advice on safe methods for construction. This responsibility was particularly difficult in a developing third world country where safety and proper protective equipment and / or methods were not available and were largely not adopted or understood
Deputy Director Public Works GS-13: United States Army Europe, 26th ASG, 411 BSB (Base Support Battalion) - DPW (Directorate of Public Works), Heidelberg, Germany
- Supervised the senior operating Division Chiefs including; Engineering, Operations & Maintenance, Resource Management, Environmental, and Fire & Emergency Services
- Second in command of 227 person Public Works (Facility Engineer) organization
- Responsible for ensuring continuity of effort within the Directorate, ensuring coordination and planning with all tenant activities. Community included a 4 star and a 3 star command (Headquarters US Army Europe and Headquarters V Corps). Community was also host to HQ Army Material Command, HQ USAREUR Contracting Command, and HQ 7th Army Reserve Command. The Public Works annual operating budget was around $33M, with a work output of over $70M annually. The supported community contained over 20,000 soldiers, civilians and dependents, 20 Installations and 971 buildings
